Service Description
It’s well documented that music is a powerful tool for boosting wellbeing, building confidence, and strengthening social connections - whether you’re listening, creating, or performing. These Jamming Sessions for young adults offer a relaxed, encouraging environment where you can explore your creativity, develop your musical skills, and, most importantly, have fun. Our focus is on enjoyment, self-expression, and the positive benefits that making music together can bring. Whether you’re a budding musician or a complete beginner, all skill levels are warmly welcomed. Some instruments will be provided, and you’re welcome to bring your own. If you don’t already play an instrument, we’ll help you find something that suits you - singing, percussion, guitar, piano, or anything else that sparks your interest. The course will be shaped around the group. Together, we’ll explore the music you already know and love, while also introducing you to new sounds and styles. You’ll have the opportunity to try out different genres, learn to improvise as part of an ensemble, and develop skills such as vocal and instrumental harmonising, keeping time, and song-writing Above all, this workshop is about connection - discovering new music, new abilities, and new friendships. Come join us and experience the joy of making music in a welcoming and supportive space.
