Navigating Challenging Emotions Safely
2 Sessions. Monday 2nd & 9th March. 4.30pm-6.30pm. Debbie Workman.
Service Description
Explore safe and supportive ways to understand and manage painful thoughts or behaviours. Gain strategies for coping, reaching out for help, and developing healthier ways to express emotions. Who is this for? This two-part workshop is for young adults who want support in understanding and managing challenging emotions. It’s suitable if you’re experiencing intense feelings, difficult thoughts, or behaviours that feel hard to cope with, and you’re looking for a safe, non-judgemental space to learn healthier ways forward. What will I learn? You’ll explore why painful thoughts and emotions show up, and how to respond to them more safely and compassionately. The workshop introduces practical coping strategies, ways to express emotions in healthier forms, and guidance on recognising when you might need extra support and how to reach out for help. How can I use what I learn? The tools and insights from this workshop can be used in everyday life: during moments of emotional overwhelm, stress, or conflict. You’ll leave with practical strategies to manage emotions more safely, increase self-awareness, and feel more confident seeking support when you need it.
